We appreciate your great efforts as foreigners subscribers as overseas students want to increase our cultural level and improve our English as well , literature lovers too . I chose two of books you mentioned main themes and authors biographies briefly here it’s my cousin Rachel plot summary about young English man plot revenge against late cousin mysterious, beautiful wife , believing her responsible for his death . But his feeling became complicated as he finds himself falling under beguiling spell on her . This novel published in 1952 and adapted in romantic drama film, written and directed by Roger Michelle in 2017 . Daphne du maurier ( 1907 - 1989) she was English novelist, biographer , playwright. Her parents were actor manger sir gerlaid maurier , his wife actress Muriel Beaumont. Her grand father was George du maurier writer and cartoonist.

Sonnets from Portuguese is written in 1845-1846 and published in 1850 , it’s collection of 44 love sonnets. The collection was acclaimed and popular during poet life time and remains so . Despite what title implies, sonnets are entirely browning own and not translated from Portuguese. Most famous poem from collection are number 33 and 43 . In popular culture first line of sonnet 43 has been used in number of title of works . In music such as let me count ways song from milk and honey . How I love thee by Libby Larsen . In literature let me count ways work by Peter de veries and in novel by Leigh Michal . In 2007 poem by Matthew Byrne also appearing in best American poetry . Elizabeth Barrett browning ( 1806- 1861 ) she was English poet of victorian era , popular in Britain and USA during her life time and frequently anthologised after her death. Her work received renewed attention following feminist scholarship of 1970s and 1980s , greater recongition of women writers in English. I hope I can learn a lot from your knowledge.
