The Off Campus and Briar U series are definitely linked - they're set at the same college with crossover characters. I would recommend reading Off Campus first 😊 Unpopular opinion, I loved both series but Briar U is my favourite!

If you are loving Stephen King, I suggest Bag of Bones and 11/23/63 which was AMAZING and might be my fave King book ever
