I watch and LOVE all your videos. You came to me a few days after I was in the Temple and something came across the screen I didn't quite understand and felt some confusion about. I asked Heavenly Father for clarity. 2 days later I was connected to your videos on Temple Symbols, where my question was answered plus some! Thank you so much for your work. I love and appreciate you, my Brother.

Bro. Dunford, I'm loving these videos and I thank you very much for making them public. I also watched the Temple Symbols series, which opened my eyes to what is right before me in the Temple building and in the ordinances. Would you consider doing a series on the Book of Isaiah? .

Ever since I got married two months ago, I had to move out of the YSA Ward and move to a family ward. And out of the nine Sundays, I moved my records to this new ward. I've only gone three times. My excuse is, "It's difficult for me to wake up on time and get ready for a ward that starts at 9am!" You see, my YSA Ward started at 12pm. I don’t know what to say. I can simply go to bed on time, but with my wife's work schedule, where she her workplace often has her getting out of work at 10:30pm. We only have one car and she doesn't have her license yet. When she gets off work late at night, I always prepare her something to eat, so we often go to sleep by midnight or maybe even later, and that makes me hit snooze on my alarms, and I don’t wake up on time for my ward. So Ive often had to go to another ward to take the sacrament. I am not blaming my wife. There is no need to do such a thing. I simply know that I have to change my ways. I don't know whether this is me taking a step down the mountain. I mostly find these videos on KZbin.

Thank you so much for your insights... I consider myself, while not much of an intellect in world terms, very much a deep thinker spiritually... And by that, I don't mean "deep doctrine", more in the sense of doctrinal perspective. I absolutely love your insights and felt prompted to share the with our ward council members. To my surprise, I was rebuked and asked to only share church authorized content. In conjunction with this I have been hesitant in sharing my own spiritual insights on social media for fear of my words been mistaken as doctrine and misleading others. Perhaps you could offer a video on how to determine what is appropriate to be shared in a church setting.... I sustain the apostles and prophet, but they are just 13 men.... I think it would be foolish to assume that the only LDS worthy content disseminates from them alone. We have near on 20 million members who echo the voices of the prophets, apostles and even the Saviour. Surely It would be foolish to exclude all of this incredible content from our spiritual diet simply because it doesn't have the churches stamp of approval? I acknowledge that we are encouraged to teach from church endorsed materials only within the church meetings... But is it wrong to reference alternate sources in any capacity? That's like having a youth fireside but not permitting John Byetheway to be viewed. Or desiring to teach about Korihor, but not referencing your material simply because you are not an Apostle, therefore your teachings cannot be credible enough to raise in a Sunday school discussion. How is hearing members "opinions" being shared on a "come follow me" lesson in a church classroom any less dodgy than sharing another members opinion simply because they have a KZbin channel and an internatiinal audience. I'm genuinely torn on this point... Please help me sustain my leaders 🙏😢

Only official church material can be considered official church doctrine. However, one of our very articles of faith states: “If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.” Furthermore, regarding some books that are considered “not official” scripture, the Lord declared: “There are many things contained therein that are not true, which are interpolations by the hands of men…Therefore, whoso readeth it, let him understand, for the Spirit manifesteth truth;…And whoso is enlightened by the Spirit shall obtain benefit therefrom;…And whoso receiveth not by the Spirit, cannot be benefited.” (D&C 91:2-6)
@tgvphoto52310 ай бұрын
@@BryceDunford I couldnt agree more . . . but thats what makes your content so difficult not to share in official church channels, because it definitely aligns with the above description of virtuous, lovely, good report and praiseworthy 😊 Please keep them coming, even if it is only for my own edification
