Such a fun month and great selections. I love getting my boxes. I’ve been using the Aardvark boxes for storage and they jazz up my closet! I chose Listen for the Lie for BOTM. Reading now and it’s good. Skipped Aardvark only because I’m trying to make a dent in my already purchased books. Just a dent, no illusion of completion because there’s always something to add! I’m glad Yours Truly won. Grandpa was such a great supporting character. I had read the others so I chose Weyward as a gift for my daughter. Hope she loves it as much as I did.

Happily never after sounds like something I would enjoy. We could be heroes does sound interesting!! I have heard a lot about Shark Heart! It sounds so odd but everyone seems to really enjoy it. Bridge sounds like it might be emotional but cool. This video has helped fill up my tbr haha xx

Richele, I saw an early video where you got a Frozen book in a box swap and you mentioned you were not really “a reader”. I must have missed the one where you explained how you turned from a non-reader into such a voracious reader. 😂 What lead to the change? Also, since you are a regular Kindle book purchaser, I assume you already receive the Kindle First Reads promotion each month. But if not, they offer a new Kindle book each month before it is officially released for free to Prime members. Definitely worth looking into if you don’t already participate.

I actually never explained it... but that's a good question. My whole life, I have loved libraries and book stores, but I probably read one book every few years on my own (outside of school reading assignments). And those were usually celebrity memoirs because I am nosey! :) I have always wished I was a reader since I love book stores and libraries and stationary and writing... it made sense that I should love that hobby but I always got bored or my mind would wander while reading and it felt more like a chore than an enjoyable hobby. Then, in 2022, I read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and that changed me forever. That made me look up people who talk about books on KZbin and seeing their excitement and how they describe the summary of books made me dive in head first and I have not looked back since! Dawna and I are both all over the Amazon first reads! We share our accounts with the household so we always make sure we each select a different book so we can get two and share with each other. We love that program!
