I picked The River We Remember as my choice. I loved This Tender Land by William Kent Krueger, highly recommended, if that's his book you have on your shelf. I also picked The Stranger Upstairs and The Intern as add-ons.

Always a fun time. I went with The River We Remember. I somehow missed This Tender Land but I very much enjoyed Ordinary Grace by same author. I added on As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow as I saw an encouraging review of that book. September is my birthday month so that one was free! Yay. I think my box will arrive tomorrow. Enjoy!

I chose The Intern this month. I couldn’t decide between that and The stranger Upstairs so my husband helped me decide based on my love for LawNerd KZbin subscriptions. After submitting I regretted not adding it so it’s picked as my add on for October so I don’t forget how much I wanted it!

Evil Eye is fiction, it’s the second book by Etaf Rum after her debut, A Woman Is No Man, which was a 2019 BOTY finalist.
