Such a beautiful conversation ladies! These discussions need to go on and on and on. The brutality of governments inflicted upon its citizenry all in the name of wanting to hold onto power is unforgiveable. We must keep talking.

There's a unique aspect of being Coloured that I personally love. Despite our varied appearances, we are united by our Coloured identity. It's a glimpse of what the world might look like if racism didn't exist.

I say the same! We get each other. We understand one another. We are PROUDLY coloured. We support each other! The story telling about coloured people is so familiar to all coloureds! It's a BEAUTIFUL thing! The Sunday morning little things to what's done on Easter, the music, the dance, Ms J Boucjer 😂 Aag man, it's so BEAUTIFUL! The way we can relate to each other, in spite of proximity or distance!

It's truly a BEAUTIFUL thing being coloured! Simply beautiful! And I love how we support each other! I love how our stories are relatable to US. Nobody else get it but US! Simply amazing! I remember my peaceful upbringing, with mum and dad playing Jimmy Swaggert and others on a Sunday morning. Music just flowing through the high ceilings accompanied by mamma's kos! And she would shout from upstairs "moenie die deksel afhaal" (don't open the pot's lid!) Hahahaha... My naughty sister (she was the only one who took alcohol) would put on Judy Boucher, you know when 😂 Saturday morning (every Saturday) dad pulled a Serena and Venus' dad on my other sister. Every Saturday morning she had to wake up super early for tennis practise with her tennis coach!!! I felt so sorry for her. It was hectic! I remember the bake offs between my mum and I. I still maintain that my chocolate cake is much better than hers but her cookies were better than mine, by a long shot! I don't have nearly enough space to delve into so much more of my experiences in a coloured household. But ja, those were the days!!! Coloured people are beautiful, stunning and downright amazing!

I LOVE THESE TWO WOMEN. I wish they could debate the celebrity wannabe Samantha Jansen and put her in her place. She ridicules coloured people and throws our people under the bus to appease Pan Africanist afrocentric black supremacists and coloured hating black people. Some, if not most of us are mixed with blackness so blackness is very much a part of our family tree. That DOES NOT MEAN that we have to one drop rule ourselves out of existence and deny the fullness of our identity. I am COLOURED AND PROUD to be. Samantha Jansen wants to become a celebrity off of trashing our people. These 2 women give me hope for the future of COLOURED PEOPLE. Their VOICES NEED TO BE ELEVATED.

Why don’t you stay out of black peoples spaces and business then?

These ladies should be talking about the present discrimination, and sidelining of the coloureds ! As a coloured myself, I've heard enough about apartheid and colonialism .

Respect your view, although I disagree. I will never disrespect another human being and what culture or identity that person identifies with.
