Cults have always fascinated me. This book actually sounds really intriguing and sounds like it can spark a lot of interesting topics of conversation!

I grew up in an christian styled cult (speaking in tongues, faith healing, volunteer non stop, 3-4 sessions a week, calling each other brother/sister, demon exist, other churches are false sorta thing). I've always looked back and thought that the language was the glue that held these ideas together. For example, it's easy to call having a naughty thought "sin" and not think anymore about it (it's just in this catagory), but if you called it "evil" or "harmful/hurtful" it risks being evaluated.
