Glad you enjoyed this one! It's been awhile since I read it, but I remember being a bit more intrigued by Lottie's perspective and the past elements. If you haven't read Langan's short story collections, I'd recommend them because a lot of his short stories relate to The Fisherman in subtle ways. I'd also recommend Greener Pastures and The Inconsolables by Michael Wehunt! He is fantastic and really gets under my skin sometimes. His story October Film Haunt: Under The House in Greener Pastures is one of the creepiest I've read, period. Cheers and great review!

I loved this book! It tied for my favorite book I read in 2023 (tying with ALL THE LIGHT WE CANNOT SEE). I'm probably going to read Langan's collection COPRSEMOUTH at some point this year.

I read this several years ago. I need to pick up some of Langan's short story collections. Very cool about the signed copy!

@@bookwormofthedamned That could be fun. His collection Corpsemouth looks interesting. KZbin is pretty much the limit of my social media though😄.

A man looking for his wife Marie whom he lost to illness and wants to see again? I'm having Silent Hill 2 vibes! ;) This book sounds super interesting with it's very human theme and the cosmic horror lurking in the shadows. I'm definitely gonna try to get my hands on a copy. ;)
