Really enjoyed this book too overall - I empathised with a lot of Jasmine's internal struggles as well, although I did find her monologues a little repetitive at times and the way she dealt with those complex issues immature for her age. Still, I really admired her determination and tenacity, plus she is kinda hilarious especially around Ivan - who (I'm not even totally sure why) I fell in love with the first moment he entered the narrative lol. Like, before he even said anything and he was just sitting in the GM's office at the LC as Jasmine spoke to Coach Lee ... I was already swooning irrationally. I love how he's playful, confident and quietly makes similar sacrifices to Jasmine to be the best at what he loves without ever complaining about those sacrifices. He's just so loving and caring towards Jasmine and his animals :') Ivan Lukov has my heart.

I just finished this book last night..I didn't think I would love it as much as I did. 🥰 I don't know if I have a favorite quote but I did really enjoy the "I broke my liver" scene. 🤣That had me cracking up. Lol. Loved your review. ❤❤
