Great review! The old lady was enjoyable for me but as you said was just kind of a survivalist story. I also read a cold place for dying first from Triana and it was the way I was introduced. I read I think 2 pages and was hooked. I also agree with the political infusion through and I 100% agree about clown in a cornfield 2!! I loved book 1 but I feel like book 2 was completely ruined. Be careful with toxic love by Triana if you haven’t read it yet because he does not hold back and goes way over the top in my opinion. Triana is one of the best out there today!! Ex boogeyman is my favorite by him so far. Once again great review!!

we listened to the audio book last weekend on a 14 hour roadtrip, its an amazing book.. wife and i both loved it

Violet I love your work but I've noticed last couple videos have had a loud hum in the audio track. I haven't gone back too far to see if it's always been there, but it's definitely up front now. I hate for it to detract from your thoughtful content ;) BTW Kristopher Triana is a good writer, but I am not as in love with "Gone to See The Riverman" as you are. Maybe I need to reread it.
