Great video, thanks for the mention too :) I'll definitely buy this book first. Looking forward to your other recommendations!

I have that book. I would definitely recommend it too. I like these book reviews, as long as you still release your longer form content. I know it is a bunch of work so I can be patient.

Thanks for the feedback. What if I did an in-depth review of a game design topic like I previously was doing (as opposed to a book review) but in this new format? Would you still be interested?

Game Design Wit I really enjoy your game design videos you made in the past. If there was still a lot of thought put into the script I would be okay with less video editing. I still think visual aids can be important to explaining design concepts so I would still like to see some images and video clips where it helps explain a concept

Ah. I'll see if I can somehow combine the two formats into a new one in a way that doesn't increase the amount of work too much. I'm thinking something like Mathloger series

I like the format and I'm glad it can help you make content quicker. I think its a perfect complement to your deep dive type videos. Glad to see you in my sub box again!

I ordered the book. If it sucks, I know who to blame :)

Think of it this way, if it's the first book you read on game design, you will probably "get" less than if you had reach as much as this youtuber. Personally, I think that the book "Rules of Play" is highly intellectual, abstract and not something I would recommend to a person who doesn't read much. It's subjective. If anything the reviews are more of an ethos of why you should read the book, but you still have to be interested etc.
