Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology is such a GOOD book. I have an audiobook of it so I kinda got a different experience from it, the way Gaiman speaks as each character from the epics he writes with much love and is very true to the poems. It's a very entertaining book, I not only learned a lot but also felt inspired by how well put he puts each story. Imo its a masterpiece

Michael's book is great book on learning shamanism. The feather is a Bluejay feather.

The Way of the Shaman is definitely a classic. I read it decades ago and it is a must read!

Because I am new to (norse and celtic) paganism and some magical practices I would love to hear more about your book recommendations. At the moment I am struggeling with my commented German Edda version, so it would be interesting which Edda you are prefering, especially if it is a German one. My theory or maybe it's just my opinion (?) is that "you don't choose books, they choose you." So, when it isn't what I was looking for, heard of or hadn't previously been interested in, I feel drawn to it. Sometimes, it's up to the universe to lmk through someone mentioning a title or I'll also be in a thrift store and they seem to jump into my basket! I think that makes sense tho… I think for crystals for example that actually does work that way.. that’s why I let my intuition guide me whenever I visit a crystal shop. ☺️
