I'm with you on that, except for the "stupid accent" part. That's not really fair, Steven has an accent which I guessed was either Wisconsin or MIchigan. Part of me understands what you are trying to convey, but I know that I have one of those stupid accents, i.e. just above Nashville. However, I'm right there with ya, on the show and the book, I really liked the show and I'm gonna read the book too.

@moody2801 Good call on his accent. He is from western Michigan. Folks who live along the Great Lakes from Milwaukee to Buffalo have a slight vowel shift when compared to their fellow state residents who live further inland. It's called the Great Lakes vowel shift. As a Minnesotan, who lives in a completely different geography of accents, I can tell people who come from that area by the slightly different vowel sounds they make.
