I’m glad you like Invictus too! I’m surprised I haven’t heard more people talk about it. I thought it was great. Love Illuminae and Gemina, but Illuminae was definitely better to me as well. Cannot wait for Obsidio.

victoria shwab i'm currently reading darker shade of magic and think am going to be reading it really quickly, then three dark crowns is going to be after that! i shouldn't start series when i have still got to finish mortal instruments. I always start series and then have too many to read! Just read the raven cycle book one as well lol

My favorite book of 2017 was without a doubt The Raven Boys, I just loved the atmosphere of that book so much and I can't wait to continue with the serie ! Renegades, A Savage Song and Illuminae are some of the books I want to read in 2018, they seem so interresting ! I'm about to read A Darker Shade of Magic and I'm excited ^^ I love your personality and how you talk about books :) You're one of my favorite Booktubers ! I hope you will have a lovely year !

I’ve never read any Celeste Ng, but I definitely want to try and read her books this year because I’ve heard so much about them! Same goes for the ADSOM series. I have the entire thing so hopefully I can binge it this year!

I usually don't read a lot of chick-lit, but I got "The Hating Game" and "My not so perfect life". I am looking forward to dive more into this genre :) My favorite books this year were: And I Darken & Now I Rise from Kiersten White, Scythe by Neal Shusterman and Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare

I loved Strange the Dreamer. Its a book that I read maybe 6 months ago and I still cant stop thinking about it. I love books that stay in your memory long after you read them. Its magical.

I just started reading sci-fi this year with the Expanse series and Illuminae. They are by far my favorite books this year. TDSOM would be my third favorite. I can't wait to read Warcross and Invictus. I'd love to see what you think of the Expanse series. If you get a chance I recommend the audiobooks. They are well done.

I’ve started Our Dark Duet. It is a good duopoly. I have A Darker Shade of Magic to read. Have you seen the Darker Shade of Magic special editions? They have dust jackets that go with the London’s. I got the grey one from Barnes & Noble. I think you can get the black one on amazon.

If you like Sophie Kinsella you should try Catherine Alliott. She's my favourite chick lit author, her books are hilarious. Also the daughter of smoke and bone trilogy by Laini Taylor is soooooo good!! 😍 Can't wait to read Strange The Dreamer

A Conjuring of Light was my second fave of the year only because I never included Harry Potter in a faves of the year before so the third one got top spot. I loved Warcross but didn't quite make it to my faves list. Others are: Crooked Kingdom, The Twenty-Three (Promise Falls) and The Savage Dawn (Girl at midnight) which were all great series enders. Standalones Highly Illogical Behaviour and Boys dont Cry. Series starters The Wizards of Once and The Father.

if your new to adult fantasy try reading lord of the rings. Its very long but so good, and game of thrones! I have only read two books of game of thrones though. And Outlander! I love fantasy and time travel

I wonder if it's possible to not like The Hating Game honestly. I think even if you're not a fan of romance you can still like it because most of the book, imo, is about hating and fighting with a colleague and the psychology behind it. I loved the professional background and the characters' background. It's soooo good omg and I can't wait for Sally Thorne's next book 🎉

Abby Wonder whatever you read, do not start off with the Dark Artifices series. TDA builds off of her previous books. The best way to read the books are in publication order, or in chronological order.
