I get it, for sure. As a fellow Christian and a special needs mom/caregiver I just wanted you to know that I’m praying for you.

I’ve been going through an 8 year struggle. I lost both my parents during that time, was laid off from a job I loved, struggled with the medical needs of my own special needs daughter, on and on… Therapy helped so much. My panic attacks went away, at one point I couldn’t leave the house and therapy helped with that, so please, make 2025 a year of self care with therapy and glasses. ❤

Sorry for the year you have had. Here’s to a fabulous 2025! One of my goals this year is to read the Bible. Don’t feel bad that at 36 you haven’t read it. I’m 73 and have read parts but never from beginning to end. Good luck and Happy New Year!

I hope you have a much better 2025! I read through the Bible every year using different plans, and it is so worth it! There are some tough stretches in the Old Testament but once you get past Leviticus and Numbers it gets better. Reading it chronologically is my goal for this year, plus doing some memory work. My top reading goal is to get caught up with Netgalley and stay caught up.

I have watched your channel from the very begnning and you have not aged a day. I'm sorry for all of your hardships through 2024, praying 2025 is good to you! 🙏

Regarding getting glasses: since you organize your day around The needs of your family, consider your need for glasses as a need for the family. In order to be the safest driver you can be, you need to be able to see what’s happening in the distance, especially at night. You need to be able to see the details of movies so you can talk about the shared experience with your children. 🩵💙🩵

Bible reading is a big goal for me this coming year too. I tried in 2024 and fell off the wagon so to speak because of work and other things and I want to try again!

❤ I think you’re amazing, Heather, and I’m so sorry for the year you’ve had. I just know 2025 will be better for you and your family. I’m with you on the therapy stuff, 100%, we all could benefit from it in my opinion. I hope to start it again, soon, myself. Please give yourself the gift of the optometrist appt and glasses. Love to you and your family.

My book goals for this year are 1) read all of the unread books that I currently own by the end of next year (only 17 so doable!) 2) if I buy new books, they have to be ones that are currently on my Goodreads TBR list and not impulse buys and 3) prioritize books with higher ratings on Goodreads.

I hope you have a blessed New Year and that it is much better than this year. Some of my reading goals include reading 150 books (I went way passed that this year but I mostly listen to audiobooks), read at least 3 Kindle/Kindle Unlimited books that don't have audio a month, read at least one book over 400 pages a month, Start/Continue/Finish Series, Keep up with my Book Planner (I am bad about keeping it up-to-date), and read at least 6 historical and 6 fantasy books (I don't read much in these genres, but the ones I have read I have liked). Personal goals include reading through my Bible in a year (I have never done that either), spend more time with family and friends, and organize, declutter, and deep clean my house (I have been having some health problems, but I am hoping those improve). I am still working on my goals so I am sure I will add some more. Hope you are able to accomplish your goals. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year.

wishing you the best 2025! I personally would love to start a reading journal so i remember what I read haha because I want to share my experiences with books and thoughts on books online. And to book clients for photography. I started a few last year once I decided i want to commit to creating a side business for myself but this year I want to give it more time to grow :)

Thank you for sharing your goals. I have a list of Christian nonfiction I would like to get through next year as a goal. I also have some personal goals I would like to work on too with my walk with God. Mainly I want to work on being more peaceful and joyful.

I do reading challenges/bingo to read more of a different genre. I guess to challenge me and make it fun. I usually Google and see what comes up. I did classics (books published before 1970s) one each month and tried to find books about or takes place on each state. 😊 Good luck

I listen to audiobooks at regular speed too, any faster and the voice sounds whiny. I use Libby for my audiobooks (Libby is free and I don't have Spotify). I am rereading Fourth Wing and Iron Flame in preparation for Onyx Storm. I am planning to read Throne of Glass and Crescent City Series. I am going to be a big proponent of DNFing in 2025 as I have a lot of physical books. I have read the entire bible in a year as one of my personal goals too. One of my reading goals is to read the books that I already own, reduce my book spending.
