You are a master Kelly! Every time I watch one of your videos I want to put my paints away and get out my scissors, papers and books and do some altering! I love the framing the pocket idea…I enjoy the intricacies of what you do and how easy you make it! Thanks for the tips and inspirations!🧡

Love this Kelly, the way you work with subtle colour points is a work of art and something to always keep in mind to make your pages pop and work in cohesion. Thanks for downloads and loved your last newsletter. Merry Christmas from Australia 😊🌲🌲

Hi Helene. Thanks bunches. I have tried and tried to make one page spreads and they resist me. The framing technique is soooo fiddly but makes a big difference. Let me know how you get on!

Kelly, Cha, Cha!! What a beautiful spread this is!! I loved the little lips you added to the pockets. I have never seen that done before. Also just love the papers that you used, especially those transparancies. I love watching over your shoulder as you work and tell us why your doing just what your doing! BRAVO!

I'm so excited to have found this online! I love that Kelly gets right into sharing her expertise and explains for all levels, from beginner to professional! I'm going to now get out those 1910's postcards from my Grampa when he traveled the world in the Merchant Marines and not be scared of ruining them and to try some of these terrific techniques. Many thanks and look forward to more ideas!

Hello and welcome, Cheryl. Thank you so much for the nice feedback. And those post cards sound intriguing. Pockets are my go-to way to display pieces that I don't want to glue down, especially if there is some precious message on the other side. Here's hoping you have a creative Sunday! Kelly

This tutorial is one of my favorites that you have done. Really like how you used the transparencies & your explanation of how you pulled it all together. So beautiful!! Thanks Kelly!

Thank you truly for this feedback, Valerie. It really helps to know what is helpful and what maybe not so much. It is easy for me to assume that everyone knows what step I would have done before or or or - I decided to just slow my roll way down and make it clearer. Then you can take the technique, run with it, and make it your own. Hope you are having creative weekend!

Very helpful! One of my goals for the weekend is to make a holiday card in the style of an altered book page. Thank you for the inspiration 😍

Thanks for the pocket tip. I've gotten lazy and have just been gluing the edges. Great video! Can't wait for the newsletter!

Hi Kathy. I agree, I am always tempted to skip this step as it is so tedious and not sexy like making the page pop but these books are in it for the long haul so I make my lazy backside do it anyway. 😁😉
