I did one of those this summer for a friend in an A2 size and made it an easel card. I also made a little box to hold it and mailed it out. It measured just a hair under 1 inch thick and cost me about $6 because it had to go as a package instead of straight mail. My friend had never seen one like that and she loved it. I thank you for your instruction. You do fantastic work.

Hi Sam! Oh I’m in love with Project! I made it full size before I went to New Orleans. But I had an accident there and haven’t been able to craft until yesterday, thank God! I've tried the book scoreboard several times, but have had trouble getting a neat edge. This will be much easier to cut, thanks for the instructions and measurements. Two thoughts: when sticking down the "pages", a ruler, paintbrush or pencil between them will make it easier to get an even lift. (Like you did when attaching the toppers.) And when decoupaging, I often use wet glue or ordinary tape at the bottom of the piece, and foam further up. This anchors feet/buildings/trees etc to the ground, making the lifted bits appear to stand out more. It also makes the whole thing thinner for posting, as you tend to use only one or two pads on any one spot. It won't work for all decoupages, but I like the effect when it can be done. I usually also shape the papers/cut outs for more texture, though it takes a bit more time, I like the effect.

What a very special card! I've been doing the decoupage technique for years, mostly using wrapping papers that I can cut out multiple images from. Thin paper can be layered on card and then fussy cut. I've also been known to do this with images from facial tissue boxes as well covering the ugly card sides with white paint pen.
