What kind of glue are you using to hold the pages?

I can't speak to what he's using in this video, but common adhesives for that part of the process would be PVA, EVA, Wheat Paste and Methylcellulose. You can also mix one of the glues (PVA/EVA) with one of the pastes (Wheat Paste/Methylcellulose). DAS Bookbinding has a great video that goes in depth on adhesives used in the different stages of bookbinding.

What about SOBO® glue? Would that work? It dries flexible.

Nice work. I have a dictionary where the cover came out. I had worked by just using adhesive to cover that from vertex and edge. May i know how did you made that black cover.I think that is the mistake i had done.

It looks like they are handmade. You have to cut 3 pieces of book board, the two covers that are 2 or 3mm bigger than the book body on all sides, minus the spine (top, bottom and outer edge). And 1 piece will be the size of the spine plus the same 2 or 3mm on top and bottom. And you need to glue these to the bookbinding fabric leaving a separation between them equal to the book board thickness. Anyway, there are many tutorials for this, you can search on yt or google. that piece of shiz is from amazon and will fail. Best to make your own out of cutting boards. A real, solid book press is quite heavy and around $500
