I like the way you compensate for not having a wider jointer with the portable planer. I always learn something in your videos. Thanks!

Your lazy Susan tool holder and moon vice are so innovative, and I like the way you made allowance for movement in the wood. Nice job so far, thanks for sharing

Great organization. Have you ever stated what kind of gloves you wear and where do you get them? Thanks

Hey Mitch...Longtime watcher of your videos. I am currently building entryway benches. I am supporting the bottom shelf with 1" cleat. I countersink and screw the cleat with three screws and a little glue on the first third of the cleat, not the whole length to aid with movement. I had a couple benches split near, where I put the screws. Any suggestions on how to install the cleat or alternative ways to support the shelf other than dadoes. Thanks for any help.....Doug

Your shop seems dark or is it just the style of video you like?

+woodaddict1 I think its the way the camera processes the light. I use very bright spot lighting that overpowers the overhead lighting. The room where the planer is does get dark at night

I was wondering why your workshop is so dark...

Just did some work down a friends house? She was telling me about a guy who lost all his fingers on a tablesaw... His glove caught the blade... I know you probably live in a cold area... but a special mention should be made about HOW cautious and the dangers of GLOVES near machines of any kind!!!!!!
