AHHHHH THE TDA CHARACTER CARDS😭❤️ I went to Bookcon last year and it was so absolutely overwhelming. Emotionally I could not deal. I also went by myself which was a bad idea and totally my fault hahaha. I'll be sure to plan more if I go again! SCHWAB IS QUEEN! 👑✨ she is the loveliest!!! CASSIE CLARE!!! 💕 that was my main reason for Bookcon last year! She was so so nice and friendly! Lumberjanes is SOOOOO awesome!!! It's one of my favorite comics!!! So happy you had a great time!!

Bookcon reminds me of Comicon. I worked Comicon last summer in California. So many people. So much stuff to look at. To buy. I loved going to the author/book section of the con. It was the best. It's awesome that you were able to go! Maybe one day I will! 🤓

I don't know if you've mentioned it before, but it's the first time I pick up on the fact that you live in Florida. I do too! I get so happy when I find other people from Florida, it's weird. I was at BookCon this year too and didn't see you walking around :( I also took my mom to help me with the lines and I'm so glad because she made my experience so much better. Mom's deserve a lot of recognition for enabling us and accompanying us to book events and making outrageous lines for us. When you mentioned Kinky Boots I almost cried remembering how great that show was. I saw it June 6, it was a night show and got to meet Brendon who is a sweetheart and the rest of the cast. J (Lola) was so amazing in it. It's one of the best shows I've ever seen. I kind of went off but I found so many similarities and I got excited. I'm so glad you had a great time at your first BookCon and New York trip!

I'm still unsure about BookNetFest since I'll be in school but I might be able to take those days off, it sounds super fun though. The song Lola sings to her father at the nursing home got me feeling all the feels, it reminded me so much of a scene in Lord of Shadows and I wanted to cry so bad.
