I hadn't even heard of ORBITAL until the prize was announced, and from what I've gathered at least on YT is that the Booker committee made a mistake. I finished JAMES, which even the bookies had as the winner, the other day, and it's one of the best contemporary novels I've read in quite a while and will probably go on to win the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. And the Bee Movie is great!

Once again it seems clear that a book has gone right over my head. (I identify with the guy sneaking out of the painting)

I was really into this book, but I got so bored with the descriptions of Earth and clouds. I finished it by skimming over these repetitive descriptions, and yet I’m not unhauling it. I loved some of the prose and the ideas on perspective. I mostly loved the characters.

Fully agree (about bees.) Not about the book (I haven’t read it.)

Entertaining review . I think I made the right decision in not reading this book .

Time to check out Harvey’s books. Plus the Booker Library at Piccadilly Circus.

Hey, just to let you know. Velas-KEZ. In Spanish, 'que' and 'qui' are pronounced KE and KI, like queso and quinoa
