Hi Lindsey My area got hit with a Snow Storm this week. We got about 2 to 3 inches of Snow. It’s been so so cold out. The other night it got down to Zero. The high for the day was only 11 Degrees. This coming Monday and Tuesday our high for those two days will only be 4 Degrees with a wind chill factor of -30. My small town is going to be dead. I doubt they have school those two days. I like it cold but not that cold. Brrr. I have decided to listen to Fourth Wing on Audible. I will get the book done quicker. Take Care & Happy Reading ❤️🤗🙏🔰☕️

Winter Garden... by Kristin Hannah- just finished this one. Oh my ❤... I wanted to start it. The audio book was wonderful. ❤

We got a very little amount of snow where I live in the UK last week (other areas did get more though!) and yeah, these sound perfect for those environments!

And we have had nothing but snow north of Syracuse, NY. Just in the past two days we have had about 15”😮. Nothing to do but read as I do not have tv. I agree with you that Winter Garden is underrated. I think it’s because it is a slower story and many have a problem with longer stories but I loved it. And my #2 of 5 for 2024 was The Frozen River and that was topped by my #1 When The World Fell Silent by Donna Jones Alward HF about the explosion in Halifax Canada during WWI. That one I keep think about and the connection to Boston at Christmas with a Christmas tree that to this day is kept. I think you would love it as I noticed you read quite a bit of HF😊❤

Winter Garden is one of my favorite Hannah book. Kate Quinn is wonderful. If you like her you might like Marie Benedict, an historical fiction writer with strong "woman behind the man" characters. The Frozen River was amazing, I just finished it.
