How do you effectively confirm the direction of the movement using bookmap? Is there a strategy you use?

@sankethsrimandumula6270 I'm a supply/demand trader, so I use bookmap to confirm my zones It also helps me see momentum in the market with the volume dots, and I'm also looking at the volume bars on the bottom of the heatmap. Example: if I see descending volume to the downside, I know that the move probably isn't legit, and I'll wait for a setup to reverse it Honestly, it took months of me just staring at bookmap for me to really grasp what's going on with it

You can't use this on gold spot but you can on gold futures..to get live data you have to pay for that on bookmap correct

The stop orders are usually just a level when they're triggered and don't appear in the order book. Once triggered, it'll send a buy/sell market order.

When you say they pulled, isn't it possible that they just decided to trade at the market, to get some fills for certain? Technically it looks the same, but practically it means those orders actually got filled early for some or most of the part. Nice video anyway and very cool software.

Level III is T&S+OI+MOB. That means that every trade in T&S supplemented with new value of Open Interest after this trade is cleared. Unfortunately CME does not provide OI data after each trade. However I bet Bookmap is not ready to process Level III even from exchanges, which today provide such data.

No. For every order you need a counter party. Buyer to seller, seller to buyer. Thats how you sometimes get stuck in a trade in futures...waiting for a fill.

my brother you explain the same over and over and over for 30 minutes, most things are pretty obvious, the heatmap colors we all know that, when you explained the columns on the right, all you said was "here are a lot of columns you can use", 🤣🤣well thank you, what are they brother???: how do they interact???? can they indicate direction?? if yes how??? quote counter, trade counter?? volumes on each side? we all know the COB what about the others, what are they for??????? how do these limit orders interact with market orders???? etc, etc, etc.
