The miracle I’ve seen is my husband going to church (never thought that would happen) AND then we have been sealed in the Temple! Absolutely a miracle!!

This lesson along with Tyler and Elder Reece was such a special lesson & moment for myself. I have a grown child that has been making choices that she doesn’t look at as wrong but has hurt not only myself but several other members of our family but you helped me know what to do, to pray for herr which I’ve done so many times but to still love her along with the rest of the story. I’ve always had unconditional love for her but lately it’s been hard but she is Gods child first and he loves her no me matter what and that gives me my cue to step up, have tons of faith and love Thank you both for helping me

Among the highest quality of education/ educators at our fingertips. Thank you Lord, the church, prophets seers revelators, et al. But let's not discount that the harshest of lessons is also among the best teachers in the Lord's Plan. Still, these lessons here are a most delightful way to prepare for, and to help us get relief from, the harshest of circumstances. May you educators and yours continue to receive richest blessings, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Thank you on the emphasis on becoming. Sometimes I think we forget that regardless of what we do or don't do, we will become more--or less--like Jesus Christ by the decisions we make each day. Since each of us has complete control over those decisions, it's important to choose to become more like the Savior.

Alma 36:11-20 was a scripture mastery on my mission, more than 45 years ago. Love the words of Alma. As for Alma the Elders point of view, you certainly got that right. We cannot make their decisions once they are adults, but the pain in seeing their unbelief or afflictions or poor decisions are soothed only by the hope Christ will show them in such a way, they remember and repent.

I have learned that The Saviour has always been with me, walking by me. The Book of Mormon chapters always come to life for me, it is as if Alma is speaking to me. And through today's teaching with the Chapters that were referenced, I see clearly in my life how the Saviour has been beside me. I sometimes feel guilty that I do not seek the Saviour enough, but as we pray, read our scriptures, attend our church meetings and visit the Temple we seek him, and not only that We find Him. Everytime! We should have eyes and ears to recognize and savor those special moments that are life changing. Thank you, this has been a blessing in my life and my family.

Thank you so much for these wonderful messages that you give. When you talk about invitations and promises, I cannot help but cross that to Hebrews chapter 6 verses 17 through 19. There it states that in order to bless us with everything God blesses us with, is the immutability of his counsel, confirmed by an oath, and by these two immutable things which it is impossible for God to lie, that we find hope, and an anchor to our soul. the immutable things that God offers are his counsel, or his invitations, confirmed by an oath, or a promise. As you look in the Scriptures you can find this over and over and over and over again on almost every page. It is one of my favorite things to look for. Thanks again for all you do.

Alma's description of the "exquisite joy" he felt as his thoughts caught hold of one Jesus Christ who was to come into the world Reminded me of both Lehi’s and Nephi's description of "The Fruit" of the Tree of life 1st Nephi Chapter 8 starting with verse 11. This is Lehi’s interpretation of the exceeding great joy found in Christ/The Fruit of the Tree of Life. 11 And it came to pass that I did go forth and partake of the fruit thereof; and I beheld that it was most sweet, above all that I ever before tasted. Yea, and I beheld that the fruit thereof was white to exceed all the whiteness that I had ever seen. 12 And as I partook of the fruit thereof, it filled my soul with exceedingly great joy!" Nephi's encounter with the Angel who gave a more particular interpretive explanation of the Tree of Lif and of the exceedingly precious fuit aa found in 1st Nephi 11:14- 23 14 And it came to pass that I saw the heavens open; and an angel came down and stood before me; and he said unto me: Nephi, what beholdest thou? 15 And I said unto him: A virgin, most beautiful and fair above all other virgins. 16 And he said unto me: Knowest thou the condescension of God? 17 And I said unto him: I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things. 18 And he said unto me: Behold, the virgin whom thou seest is the mother of the Son of God, after the manner of the flesh. 19 And it came to pass that I beheld that she was carried away in the Spirit; and after she had been carried away in the Spirit for the space of a time the angel spake unto me, saying: Look! 20 And I looked and beheld the virgin again, bearing a child in her arms. 21 And the angel said unto me: Behold the Lamb of God, yea, even the Son of the Eternal Father! Knowest thou the meaning of the tree which thy father saw? 22 And I answered him, saying: Yea, it is the love of God, which sheddeth itself abroad in the hearts of the children of men; wherefore, it is the most desirable above all things. 23 And he spake unto me, saying: Yea, and the most joyous to the soul. I bear my witness that the instant Alma the Younger "caught" hold upon this thougt; The Savior and Redeemer of the all the soul's God had created, began with eranestness the instantaneous grace, the enabling power with which Alma began his soul saving journey, turning back towards the Savior, Redeemer of all mankind, Jesus the Christ becoming a mighty servant of Him who had Redeemed his soul. All because Alma CHOSE to believe...

I am not sure how you can teach the experience of Alma the younger without saying "baptism of fire and the holy ghost." He remembers his pains no more because he received the remission of sins - which is only received through the baptism of fire (2 Nephi 31:17). This mighty change IS an event, it is NOT unique to Alma, and Alma teaches that there were many who had the SAME experience as he did through his teachings (Alma 36:24-26); the process includes many significant events.
