And to think I was starting to feel self conscious over the amount of witchcraft and occult books I have... but I see in the background all your books and that made me smile so I tip my imaginary hat to you my darling. May we never be self conscious about our witchy/occult-ish book obsessions..... I mean collection lol. HAVE A MAGICKAL DAY 🖤💜🖤😁

Thanks for all the book tips! I personally enjoyed Rebel Witch by Kelly-Ann Maddox a lot as a beginner book on witchcraft practice. I'm also a big fan of Sigil Witchery that you mentioned in the other video.

thank you so much for these recommendations. i’ve been wanting to learn more about witchcraft for a while. i’m not entirely sure if my fascination is just curiosity and a thirst for knowledge or if i want to become involved in the practice. there’s so many sub sections and different paths to take and i think as a beginner it could be quite overwhelming. so thank you, ive been binge watching your videos and i appreciate everything :)

It definitely can be overwhelming! There's plenty of time to figure things out. I'm so glad that I could be of help to you ☺

Can you please do a video on The Easiest Spells With aspects like… . Minimal ingredients that are easy to find . Simple rituals . Some easy candle magic . And maybe some protection spells for your … pets,doors,windows,mirrors and others I love your videos so much and I’m a baby witch and I could really use a video like this 🥰

You're the second person this week to recommend an Aidan Wachter book. I had never heard of him before so maybe the Universe is giving me a knock on the head.

Also nice to see something beyond Wicca (no shade to Wicca meant here; I feel Wicca gets dumped in far too much…)

Absolutely agree I love Folk Witchcraft too - I recently uploaded a video on my channel on my recommended books for folk and trad witchcraft and naturally this was on the list! 😊 I've never read The Little Work but from how you describe it, I think it sounds like it would be a really helpful read for any witch. I will add that to my Wishlist for sure. Thanks for sharing Ari 🙏

First of all thank you for sharing your knowledge in such a thorough and honest way. Could you suggest some book dealing with energy sensing-raising-sending?
@TheOakWitch2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Of course, there's Mat Auryn's Psychic Witch, which just for the exercises alone is helpful in this field. But quite a few Witch 101 books deal with energy work and have those energy sensing or raising exercises, despite not being entirely dedicated to the topic. Some examples include Intuitive Witchcraft by Astrea Taylor or Witchery by Juliet Díaz. I believe HearthWitch has some great videos on energy work if you wanted to go check out her channel as well!

I am really interested in Folk Witchcraft and have done a bit of research, but honestly am finding it difficult to understand exactly what it entails or what sort of practices would be included under that umbrella term. I joined a FB group but was kindly asked to leave because I was a beginner and the group was for experienced practitioners only. I appreciate the way you explain things as well as the resources you provide so that we can explore further. So I was hoping you could do a video on this topic, as I am sure I can't be the only one who is interested in learning more.

I'm sorry you had that experience! I can definitely do a video on Folk Witchcraft, or at least my experience of being a Folk Witch 😊

Just a thought: anything witchy that I would want to bury outside, I will be burying in a giant planter by my front door.

I wish I could read and research and study the craft (I’m a beginner) I work full time but when I’m home on my off days (which only two days) everybody in my house loves to bother me (I get I’m at work most of the week so they probably miss me 😂) but I don’t have any me time or privacy!!!!
