Jack, I know this is heresy,...but have you ever considered a Kindle just for travel? I used to be a physical book only and I continue to buy physical books If they are that good, but since I got my Kindle I have been able to save so much space and its really easy to travel (I bought the Kindle Signature edition for reference; waterproof, 32gb of storage, nightlight options and warmlight for ease of reading) Just a thought!!

I truly appreciated the Nightbitch (the approach, the topic, the milestone it covers), and The Second Place was the book of a decade for me (at lest that is what I still think two years after reading it) - it even impacted how I write in my daily life. Hi Jack! if you ever go to shetland or the south of France (or both, as you will want to after reading this book) I really highly recommend "The Sixteen Trees of the Somme" by Lars Mytting. A Norwegian author. The book is beautifully written and is probably my favorite book of all time! It will probably make you cry tho, but I know that's what you like!
