Very happy seeing Robin Hobb and Anthony Ryan on the priority list! And I'm ofcourse looking forward to the readalong for the War of the Rose Throne and hopefully Kingdom of Grit 😄

I am really looking forward to starting the Cradle series this year as well! That would be a good buddy read option. Plus, the first book at least is pretty short 😀

Great list! I think you would enjoy Black Stone Heart, and although the stock market is down for Stormlight, I think there’s a chance you might like it. You might find the first book a little slow until the last chunk, but his prose is very modern and accessible. Book of the New Sun sounds like a series I would love, and I might look into starting late next year!

Oh im sure ill like stormlight, that may just be the find wine a friend gave you to break out for a special occasion. Theres no rush, it'll always be there and the series isn't close to finished.

I like this idea so much! I did something similar this last year and I really liked it. I also noted genres on my list so I could try to prioritize sci-fi and classics in addition to my usually fantasy reading. Robin Hobb is also on my priority tier for 2022.

Thanks! I should make genres play into it, great suggestion. At least one book from the 3 that I read and even work in sub genres like dystopian... back to the drawing board!

I have no plan. Everything just gets dumped into a TBR

Sometimes that’s the best way. This is a very lose plan, more of a reminder of why I really wanted to get to so new shiny objects don’t jump again. But I always leave room for mood reads.
