I would love to see a vlog on either of the SJM books. They're both so good. I hope you enjoy them. Also ACOTAR is still unfinished. SJM is currently writing the next book in that series.

I just started ACOTAR when I realized the crescent 🌙 city series has a crossover - and I’ve been listening on to the graphic audio versions and it’s like listening to a movie! I’ve read 3 books in the series since January ! They fly by .

I read The Thirteenth Tale last year and loved it! It's much better than The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo in my opinion :)
@t.s.61110 ай бұрын
I thought Crazy Rich Asians worked better as a movie. The book focused more on the humor and didn't have as much emotional impact, imo. This is the year I'm wanting to try and step outside my usual genres, so 2 books outside my comfort zone I want to try out are Moon of the Crusted Snow and The Making of Another Major Motion Picture Masterpiece. I'm not normally a thriller or contemporary reader, but these both sound intriguing!

PLEASE do your research on T. J. Klune books and him as a person. His previous novel The House In The Cerulean Sea was inspired by The 60's Scoop and he's admitted as much in an interview. Many BiPOC folks have spoken out about it on youtube and booktok.

@@PigeonFace4LifeThe controversy was that a white author used the taking of indigenous children in the US and Canada as inspiration for his fantasy book. People were upset because it wasn't his story to tell. People did nearly drive him to suicide when the controversy came up though, all around its a sad situation.

A lot of BiPOC (including people from the indigenous community in both Canada and the US) have come to the defense of this book too. It’s definitely not a black and white issue.
