4 books every muslim should read according to Molana Ishaq Madni(ra) 1. Tafheem ul Quran by Molana Modoodi(ra) 2. Maariful Hadees by Molana Manzoor Nomani(ra) 3. Fiqh us Sunnah by Asim ul Haddad(ra) 4. Tareekh e Islam by Shah Moinuddin Nadwi(ra). All of these books are in urdu, the first two have been translated into English but I am not sure about the last two.

It is far better to read Maulana Wahiuddin khan books rather than these books. Moulana Wahiuddin khan Books have an entire different aoura..

I guess we should except that we are not very much attracted towards the real face of our religion may be because we are not provided the knowledge of Islam in an attractive way. For instance we can see a movie for 3 consecutive hrs or a season of 10 to 12 episodes and we wish to finish in a day by spending 13 to 14 hrs consecutively in front of screen on weekends. With the change in time, why are we not provided the knowledge of religion in the same attractive manner. For instance our showbiz industries should make movies, dramas or seasons based on the books written by our ancestors on seerat ul nabi, life if sahabas or covering different events of teachings of Quran rather than showing third class story line and immoral dramas.
