The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is another one I heartily recommend to everyone. It is written in letter form and is charming through and through.

The Switch by Beth O’Leary (as well as The Flatshare) have happy endings. Also anything by Jenny Colgan or Catherine Alliott. I really enjoyed this video. I read a variety of books but sometimes I need a happy ending!

Maddie Oggero I have read this. I am not one to read anything set in wartime but I absolutely loved this.

I recommend Winnifred Watson's Miss Pettigrew lives for a day. It's about a shy old maid who works as a nanny and gets sent to an eccentric household by mistake. She gets caught up in the mischieves of show business and holds her own for once.

I guess the Little Wooden Horse, technically, has a happy ending... but why do I always cry before I can read it?!

I don't think anyone with a heart could get through the scene where he loses all his coins!
