@lilsyy16 I haven't read a book with that trope, but there's a webtoon called school bus graveyard with that trope if u are interested. It's about a girl who have never had friends and she didn't want to either, she was fine by herself, but then a new student appears... (it has some romance scenes but it's mostly thriller) (every night they transform into a shadow like world world which they have to survive in together)

I don't know if this is meant to be a joke? All of these Colleen Hoover books romanticise abuse and toxic relationships. She literally had a sexual assault scene in one of her books that was made to be "cute" that was so bad she had to edit it in later versions of the book. Not because she realised it was awful, but because readers told her so. She's a massive misogynist and her female main characters never have a backbone or any self respect. Also Anna todd? Harry styles fanfic is what we're calling literature you can't get over?
@soni_aaa8 ай бұрын
That’s his opinion though. Regardless of what you think if a person likes a piece of literature that’s allowed. You don’t put down other people’s preferences. We read for fun it’s not that deep.

I dont think it ends with us romanticized abuse it actually represents how the protagonist had to go through watching her mother get abused then when she also get abused she doesnt stay with her husband instead with all courage leaves him just after her daughter is born .
