I never know whether to keep books that I loved but know I’ll never read again. It’s so tricky because it’s like “why would I get rid of a book I really enjoyed” but then “why would I keep a book I’ll never pick up again”. The struggle😩😂

It's so hard to let go of a book I loved! What helps me to do it when I know I won't read it again (mainly mystery or thriller, or it was a great light hearted story but no real meaning) is the thought that by sending it to a second hand bookshop, someone else will discover it and love it like I did.

Lol! Yeah that is nice. My husband usually reads self help books and WW2 related stuff. So pretty much just non-fiction. Whereas I am the complete opposite. I love fantasy, thrillers and horror :D Neither of us are into classics, though I do intend on reading some soon. Bought Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre, so far.

in defense of Jay picking out Stolen for you for your birthday, I think you actually would like it!! from what I remember it was very different from what I expected from the synopsis, and incredibly beautifully written. I read it years and years ago but I still remember the stunning descriptions of the Australian outback, and how deeply affected I was by the complicated exploration of Stockholm Syndrome. Yes, but The Phantom of the Opera as a musical though-THAT’S the real masterpiece. The music is simply stunning & there’s a reason why it’s almost the one that’s been played the longest out of all the shows ever in West End, trust me on this one (if you ever get to watch a musical in London and want to give it a try, I highly highly recommend it!)

The Count of Montecristo is truly a MASTERPIECE! Do read it, it is AMAZING. I've read it twice already and I love it so much! ♡ It is a lot of work to organize books. My mom and I recently re-organized our shelves and we used 3 full days of work to do it because we have almost 3000 books! It was fun but I ended up exhausted and my hands still hurt from picking piles of books up, LOL. Good luck with the move! I would say that Crescent City by Sarah J Mass is my favorite by her! I really enjoyed it and she talked about mental health amid a tragedy in the story which I really enjoyed seeing. It is probably out of your usual realm of genres but I hope you enjoy it!

You have so many beautiful classics books! Your copy of Little Women and Emma - major book envy! So sorry guys I have to disagree on books sizes I love that they come in different sizes! Generally yes a series I love it to match, but a collection of the author I love the array of sizes and styles, but I am inwardly concerned about how precariously hidden half your book collection was 😂😂😂 That's what I love about book tube, seeing how different people's boats float.

@@ciarascorner I would 100% recommend it. There was a mini series that aired back in the 1990s by Hallmark. It starred Robert Duvall among many other stars of the decade. I highly recommend that show as well. Let me know if you can't find it over there.
