I used to be sooo skeptical about putting my books in colour order because of split series but ever since you said in a past video that being a visual person (which I also am) means it doesn’t matter I now totally understand and my bookshelves are colour ordered now! You’ve converted me 😳

I love your arrangement by color. I'm new to the channel and leaving a sub! I arrange my books according to languages, because I own and read books in multiple languages (I'm a language enthusiast). So, one shelf is for Romance languages like Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian, then I have a shelf only with books in English and Swedish (I live in Sweden, so a separate shelf felt necessary). Then I have a shelf with German books, which is less than 10 books, so they share their space with some other language learning materials, and also a separate shelf for Slavic languages like Russian, Serbian, and Polish (which is my native language). I also have two separate shelves for dictionaries and language learning materials, a separate shelf for classics no matter the language, and two shelf for books that I collect, like books by Harlan Coben and books by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.
