@@jaymeestahl i haven’t read it yet but a lot of people say that the books aren’t directly connected so u wouldn’t have to read them as if they were a series. they mainly just reference some of the material in the other books since it’s from the same universe and they’re companion stories. u wouldn’t be missing or getting spoiled too much if u skipped the first one but u would miss out on some of the references. definitely up to u if u don’t mind the references.

I LOVE seeing what books people have on their bookshelves so I super enjoyed this video! I remember reading the Twilight series as a teen when it first came out so it gives me so much nostalgia seeing it on your shelf. It’s a great series! I haven’t read any of the other books you have but I’m definitely gonna give the Cruel Prince series a read since you liked it so much and some of the other books you have on that shelf, they look pretty interesting. :)

The "OH NO THEYRE SQUISHED!" Reminded me of why I hate flying with books because I always put them in my personal item so I can protect them as much as possible (I use like a mens hiking book bag because it's also my bag for college). But it also reminded me on why I insisted on saving cardboard boxes from packages so I could pack my books as safely as possible & efficiently because my plastic totes are so rounded & a little oddly shaped.

Unfortunately, we don't really have the same taste in books, or at least not many, because I did see some you described that made me think, "Hmmm...." But I loved this video! I love your energy and I so relate to the way you organize books and how you are so excited even just to look at them ~ that is so totally me! Oh gosh, and I also "hide" certain books behind the ones on display! It makes me feel so happy to see you so excited and happy about your lovely books and new shelf! Aren't books just so wonderful! (Of course they are. :P ) Oh! I *am* interested in the C.S. Lewis titles you mentioned here and in another vid I watched a few minutes ago (gigantic haul)! If you're anything like me then every time you buy even one book, putting it on the shelf is not a matter of picking it up and plinking it on - there likely will be loads of re-assessment and re-arrangement involved! Ha ha! Enjoy!!!
