Yes, please! 🙋🏻‍♀️ Thank you for putting these together, mad props for the effort that goes into creating the collab! Oh, and for including some actual middle graders to weigh in on middle grade books: 👍🏻⭐️ (I always secretly wondered when perusing recs if anyone actually ever asked a middle grade kid or two or 7 what they actually enjoy reading 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️… I get the premise that adults can and do enjoy MG but like hearing from the experts! 😂) Great job on gathering and putting these together!

Haha, sorry, Lupita! I got a ton of good recs from this too. Good idea to mark what sounds good, but not necessarily get it right away. At least then you won't forget and can get to them later. Maybe add a few to your library holds!

I've never heard of it before all the #middlegrademarch TBRs and recommendation videos started coming out this year, but now I really, really want it. this is the first time I've heard of Rain Reign, and that sounds intriguing too.

Great video!! I was not aware of the other companion books to A Wrinkle in Time!! I would like to recommend a MG book I've never heard anyone talk about and was a Goodwill find!! I Lived on Butterfly Hill by Margorie Agosin. It won the Pura Belpre Award and is set in Chile and in Maine, USA. Eleven yr old Celeste's parents must go into hiding to remain safe from military dictatorship taking over Chile. She is sent to ME to live with her aunt and experiences what it is like to live in excile. The author is an award winning poet as well and this story based on personal experiences reads poetically. It blends history,, family, feelings, and culture into a beautiful and informative read!!
