Booloumba Creek Camping Areas 1,2 & 3 - Conondale National Park, Qld

The Booloumba Creek Campground is a bush camping area consisting of 3 separate areas in the Conondale NP in an open forest setting. Area 1 and 3 are designate camping areas for tenting and Area 4 is a large open undesignated area for up to 30 people in caravans, campers and tents. Water must be treated before drinking. Remember to bring your own firewood. Area 1 and 3 sit next to the gorgeous Booloumba Creek. NOTE: Area 2 is for day use only.

It looks so nice with no one else there! was there this weekend - Anzac weekend and it was packed. Still managed a nice swim with not too many people... but wow, have to go when it's not a 4WD highway. The creek crossings were totally browned out for us!

Hi Lilly, there are 2 water crossings you need to do to get into the campground and although they are quite low depending on the amount of rain there has been, you definitely need a vehicle with high clearance. I would recommend a 4wd.

It depends on how much water is in the creek but if it is low, I don't see why not.

Hi Kico, yes you can have fires there. I'm not sure about the fishing as I'm not a fisherman. Not sure if there are many fish or what kind of fish are in the creek.
