Like you, level 77 with 1082 VP. I think I’ve had three player spawns, level 20, level 43 and yesterday 1 level 77. Also, my log is wonky listing raids from many hours ago (20-6 hours) when they weren’t in the log a few minutes when I last checked in. Can’t collect Intel, can’t get VP, can’t clear supply chests. Plus the Critters bug is really curbing OP hit strategies. Blackguard spawns are also way, WAY behind what they were. I am sure glad I didn’t pay for a Boom Pass because it’s basically just taking money from those players.

Even I noticed the critter count bug, Skull! As for the matchmaking, I always welcome getting knocked down a few VP…..

VP shouldn't matter. it should be level for match making. If you only play warship and not main base, vp drops but not level. So those players should still match against same level because they are upgraded.

why shouldn't they matter ? of course VP should matter, they're the "ranking" system of the main game

@soupe2000 lower level players end up with higher level on their map because the higher level might only play warship and have a low vp count. Why should a level 45 have a map full of level 70's? It's like they get punished for playing.

3:00 My experience so far, as a player who has always been a few HQ's behind, (just upgraded to 24) was incredibly hard, but that's also because I was pushing. I never had any shot in defending, but I'm always able to clear Max bases. And that was a big part of the fun. The challenge. Now there's no challenge

before the matchmaking was bad cause i (lvl 44) was only getting lvl 70 so i like the new changes. Beside the intial bugs. The Cats 😂😂😂😂😂😂.

Seems the mid to lower level players are enjoying it, haha. Felix is more than twice the size of Theodore, and he was just man handling him, lol. Poor kitty, lol.

I've been experiencing match making issues at a very early level. Say level 30. If often see bases at 76 50 etc. It's been my biggest down hill struggle. I don't wanna put my base in the beach and lose medals and loot

12 accounts 27-77 xp. Lowers seems balanced, mid seems to be completely mixed and highs are mostly balanced with a few lows on map. Lows are 150-280 vp, miss are 350-600 vp, highs are 650-1000 vp.

I havent got any player bases since updating the game only 1 or 2 village lost happened and raids are happening like crazy

The lvl 68 v 18 on my team was hilarious but definitely unfair. I think they shouldn't fully change it back but go off lvls vs vic points

Lvl 78 1570 VP , I get about 5 bases per day now mostly Non Player and from lvl 20 to 66. Very little play time for higher lvl players and no challenge in the game anymore. I remember getting the lvl 78 with 12 boosted ice statues, now that’s a challenge to beat. Zookas are still not responding correctly, they don’t immediately attack the marked (hit with arty) bldg , other troops have to be guided with flares multiple times like herding cats each goes after something different very frustrating even when you get bases to attack. They did fix the critters but thats the only improvement I’ve seen in my game. They told me to reboot my game again with the update but still no joy. I have two lower lvl bases 70 and 71 which get more activity and of course we have TF attacks but again when troops don’t respond correctly it takes the startegy out of the game…like playing chess and your Knight can run like the bishop very very frustrating…Hope this gets fixed soon. BTW no pun intended sith the “Herding Cats” comment I love my cat MoMo….😊

Still having Everspark only sending off a couple of bombs then greyed out.... plenty of power but no bombs. Agreed with matching problems as level 62 getting level 31 players.

Not too many players have mentioned Cpt.Everspark..... but she is broken. Or her abilities are. After you use her ability the first time, it greys out and is not available for use.

I'm lvl 63 was getting bullied by lvl 70 to 76 couldn't stay at 600 vp to save my life now I'm at 620 and climbing it's actually helping me now then before

Match making should firstly be from level. It's not fair if a player is good and has high VP that they get matched against players that have higher upgrades or more defense's! This is the reason I don't play warships

I had a level 9.. handful of lower levels.. I had most 56-77 but around 300 vp I’m at 925 good thing with it.. I knocked out all my chests kept getting so much ice bases.. or ones that had 40 k of each resources not worth attacking..

Wow, that's one thing I have not been getting. Ice bases. Just have been steam rolling everyone. Many just using GBE (barrage) 😅.

I've also got the matchmaking problem, but thanks to it I've got 1k free gems because of the victory points achievement (gather 600 in total). I'm happy :)

Hi, because of matchmaking, players no longer have any challenge, the update is a disaster!!!

The Boom Beach team did not expect the update launch to be this much of a disaster. They are working to fix this A.S.A.P.

You sure it’s a bad for lower level players because I’m level 50 and before the update I was getting attacked by nothing but level 65-70+ and the bases I would have to attack would always be level 75 or higher now the highest level I’ve gone up against so far is 56 so it seems more fair now

In that case, seems to be fairer for lower to mid level players. Before the update high level players (lvl 65-70+) would spawn on your map and you are level 50. Now since the Summer Skies update the highest spawn you have had for a player is lvl 56? Interesting. That does seem very fair for you.

@@SkullCrusherBoom so far today the highest level I encountered was a level 66 hq 20 this update seems so much more fair for lower level players & I’ve only gotten attack by 1 high level player, before the update I’d log on after a day attacked by 2-3 (lvl 70+) and would lose a lot of my loot I farmed they jus need to fix it for high level players

Level 66 almost 67 with 269 vp. and going down fast. Getting wiped out over and over by folks very much higher in level and vp. so this game is no longer fair or fun. Seriously thinking about just deleting account and moving on after many many years. Just saying that i'm with you as far as thinking the game is no longer playable.

@@SkullCrusherBoom Just got wiped out by level 69 with 843 VP's, it really doesn't make sense. When I scout others on my map their rank doesn't even come close to the amount of VP's some of them have. But, whatever, I'll just let my VP's keep dropping until maybe someday there will be equilibrium in the force. Live Long and Prosper. BTW, I'm not buying my way to the top...perhaps my achilles heel.
