Screw the whole "class balance" agenda ! We need more "niche OPness" like these. Back then every class and spec had their niche appeal (rogue stunlocking , shaman windfury melting, unkillable restore druid, arcane mage burst, etc) and it was so fun! The more they attempted to homogenize and "balance" the classes, the worse the class design was.

+Darude DustII I just learned that the private servers have been upping their game since I last tried many years ago. Currently playing on Warmane. A super blizzlike server for wotlk. And almost more populated the blizz servers. Also, it is super easy to get up and running. Instructions on website, literally Download and play.

how was Nostalrius a shitty server? It seemed to be almost flawlessly scripted, and well populated, no lag whatsoever. The staff fucked up by transferring their data to Elysium, who doesn't care about the playerbase at all and can shut down the server whenever they want. But I still don't see how Nostalrius to begin with was a shitty private server.

@@Silvermute i hear ya. Havent tried it myself. But PvP in WOTLK is super fun. It's the most fun i've had so far and Ive been playing classic since vanilla came out. It's also a lot easier to get geared up, its not a huge grind like vanilla and TBC were.
