You ever drive an LC70 series? They kinda have that driveline slop displayed in your model, so it ends up just looking super scale.

I have not, that’s very interesting so it’s even more scale than I thought LOL. Thank You for the comment!

I think hobbywing looks drop like that because gap on all gear...but if in trx4 i ready installed hobbywing too but run almost smoothly. because trx4 not too much gap in gear...BTW mamba and the motor nice pairing...

Hm. Building my trx4....have the fusion 1800kv planned for this one. The brx will be my next. Did you managed to get rid of you issue at the end of your vid ?
@goodtreadsrc9133 жыл бұрын
No Unfortunately I never resolved the issue it’s not the hobbywing fusion at all I believe that the BRX 01 gear mesh it’s just a little bit sloppy At very slow speeds Unless it’s something I did wrong when I was putting it together but I’ve had it apart several times I’ve greased it all up and checked everything to no avail. I know it’s not the hobby wing fusion because I had a Holmes Puller Pro 2700kv with the same results. I’ve seen the fusion in other TRX-4 builds it’s amazing You really can’t beat it for value and the space saving and it is extremely smooth. Thanks for your question

The brx01 is the coolest most scale (realistic) and the traxxas is the best rc crawler for the buck. I like both but prefer the brx01. Gear ratio or a car like torque converter needs to be used so that the motor can continue spinning and not have to rely on electronics to make it operate "smoothly"!? Ever seen a real 4x4 crawling? Spinning gas engine with a clutch or torque converter!? Just sayin' cool video

I really like the BRX01 too , Thanks Man!

Hmmm! Are tires & Rims on the Landy scale? Yes? 1:0 for the Defender... But in REAL life: on such trail in 1:1 you brake off the end pieces of the drives... GAME OVER, Landy... Than you would rather have had a Toyota LC70 Series😉 (A Landrover Defender brings you in the jungle, don't care what it is...BUT: Only a Toyota can get you out of there again...) 😁
@goodtreadsrc9132 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for the comment I don’t believe they are scale and the TRX four in all honesty does have portal axles which a defender does not have in real life so it’s probably not a fair comparison. I just think the TRX for drive train is exceptionally smooth

@@goodtreadsrc913 Hey, mate! Thanks for your answer! In real live you can buy portal axles for the Mercedes G - series (LeTech, GSG and other manufacturer) and for the LC 70'is in Australia i think, I'm not sure. Have a nice day and enjoy your RC Defender. Greatings from Germany 😉 😎 👍

But when you drive on smooth roads it's not realistic because it doesn't use differentials like in the original car
@goodtreadsrc9133 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. Not sure what you mean. Are you talking about an open differential? The BRX01 is full time locked differentials. With a transfer case and transmission. The TRX4 can have locked or open differentials

Do 1.9 or 2.2 tires fit on the brx01?
@goodtreadsrc9133 жыл бұрын
Not really well. You’d have to adjust the end point on your servo. I tried it and it scraped against the chassis rail.
