Im super busy as of lately (hence my lack of uploads) but I sometimes do editing / 3d work livestreams, if you catch one of those streams at some point then feel free to hop in the chat and send me your latest work in progress video and ill forsure take a look at it and give you tips and advice. You can join my discord (link in desc) for announcements when i go live. My main advice now is keep at it and keep practicing. Software I recommend for starting out is Davicni Resolve and Gimp for thumbnails. When things get more advanced, consider getting after affects and blender for 3D stuff. I usually try to make a story to a lot of my videos and have a progression (starting out with passes or low skill plays and moving up to more advanced things as the video progresses and the song gets more intense) so try and pick a song that fits that. You can also make use of cinematic footage, a lot of youtubers have free cinematic footage (with credit) you can use like JayG’s video: Pristine. If you want to record your own footage then use the spectator camera mode in echo vr, you can use spark for this. Making use of zooms and time remapping: You can find tools on youtube on how to time re-map and slow things down in Davinci or whatever program you decide upon using, try and make use of these when the disc is mid air or about to go into the goal, with time you will be able to recognise when a spot in your video should do well with time remapping. Zooms are also good and work well with time remaps but dont have to he used together, they should mainly be used to put emphasis on the disc or player or main focal point (you can also add emphasis by blurring everything except for the focus point by rotoscoping around a blur and feathering the edges but that may be advanced for starting out). Colour grading is also effective and vert useful, you can find tutorials on youtube for that My final advice is make it your own and create your own style, i know personally i like to make mine cinematic and focus on unique visuals every video but you should eventually with time find your style and flow. Work with pace and dont force yourself to upload but also dont uplaod too much or you may get burnt out. My discord is in the description so send me your next upload in DMs (i watched your first one and it looks awesome, really nice shots 👍) and I will give you advice on it
