As a musician who picks up songs by ear I can state that the sound from anhur's ability and discord notification are different. I even specifically re-listened with studio headphones.

I think the confusion with the Anhur sound is that it's a two tone with the same cadence as the discord ding. The pitch is entirely different but I can hear the octave steps are similar.

I understand where you're coming from about the sound - it's just not hitting the same brain synapses for me, tho! ...But guess what I hear??? - Danza chugging+throwing his bottle sounds like _Thor's death._ I always hear this weird distorted _"it is not--"_ voiceline!! - Pinata Kumbha's dash makes a "beewoop" sound that sounds like the beginning of Anhur's pillar voiceline _"Beware the shifting sands"_ - I know I'm not alone in this!

Bro if you turn up your volume really really loud like to damn near deafening levels there is definitely a discord notification in that anhur 2. Listen again with your ears close to the speaker on max volume yes your ear will hurt because of it but you will hear it.

The Anhur 2 doesn't sound like that notification. It might sound like that with certain gods or other effects but I didn't hear it in the video. I will say that Smite 2 looks good visually but I don't think I will be playing it. There are too many changes I don't like: removing the classes and having all items be used by all gods. I get that they want to open it up which is a good idea but was poorly done. Not having classes does mean certain restrictions or mindsets for god or item design are lifted which is a good change. What they replaced it with Traits or like a brief description doesn't help let you know where the god would be good. Its just going to cause a lot of issues. I don't like the item system at all. I think free Beads is a huge mistake and letting every god build every item is going to make items worse overall. We're going to lose a lot of unique effects and under-powered or niche items because there is no restriction. Also as a whole Supports are going to have it much worse in Smite 2. With no items to allow them to catch up on gold and free Beads its going to make them feel just really bad to play unless they're super aggressive which some can't be. It just feels like its not going to be a fun game to play for me, also I really can't play it because I don't have a next gen console or a computer that could run it. Apologies for the rant. It was a good video I hope to see more in the future.

@@BOOM555 I'm pretty sure they won't add them. They did the same with dance and special emotes for newly released gods, I mean last 2-3 years releases. Cutting everything they can cut while charging more - great strategy

Ive seen quite a lot of smite 2 vids so far... and every single time there is a plater or two in every game that plag like fucking 300mmr... looks like they touched smite for the first time... how do idiots and bots like them get alpha access... there's no matchmaking elo, but more importantly a lot of hype outside of smite 1 and since you get access if you buy the founders edition it could actually be brand new players to smite? idk maybe just real bad players from smite 1 as well
