Go to Lowes or Home Depot and get the rubber covers for chair feet and clamp it on. Looks much better by eliminating the hose.

How do I do this without a code being thrown? I tried this and it worked but I got a check engine light a few days after putting it on.

@@chasepineda2585 oh yeah, very easy to install. Also sounds great, holds boost really well without issue. The stock recirculation valve used to sound like it was leaking with my KN cold air intake. Also I like the boomba’s partial ventilation when not letting fully off the throttle.

The OEM plate does get removed so our taller sitting BOV can fit properly.

I have a question I put a blow off valve on my 2016 Veloster turbo and after driving it the engine light came on I didn’t order it from u guy’s or that company but idk what’s wrong maybe I put something on wrong there was 4 of us kinda doing it so we thought it looked good and sounded good

Hello! This part does not require a tune to run because the vehicle is MAP controlled. Hope this helps!

Can keep the return hose stock and only replace the BOV without any issues?

Since this a full vent to atmosphere, the return line is no longer utilized. It would still need to be blocked off to prevent debris and moisture from getting in.

@@603adventures9 did a dealership mechanic say that it made your check engine light come on? The Veloster Turbo is MAP tuned and not MAF tuned from the factory, so our BOV will not cause a check engine light to come on. We make BPVs for vehicles that are MAF tuned as we know a BOV (which is vent to atmosphere) will cause the check engine light to come on

@@edwinayala3490 I'm not familiar no. But watch that video I mentioned and if your bov is similar, and has a piston like the one In the video, make sure you use the proper grease and the right amount Too much grease is not good either

Hi! No tune is required for this product and will not change the operation of your vehicle at all! It is there to help higher boost pressures and add noise but will not change the functionality of your vehicle. Hope this helps!
