I was not a fan of her acting style in View to A Kill but she nailed this character as it was closer to her actual persona. She was outrageous, multi-lingual, and worldly. The social/entertainment space has not been the same since she stepped away from it. The perfume testing (background voices when she removed her panties) and restaurant scenes were outrageous but worked so well with her personality in the movie.

Definitely! Halle Berry was a wet fish in that film. She’s fine but bad casting decision in that it wasn’t the right pick. This was due to Hollywood stereotyping of beauty standards. Had it been made in Europe esp France- we would remember ☔️ ⛈️ Storm.

Actually most of the casting in X-Men films (Xavier and Deadpool were good) were unfitting compared to the casting choices in Spider-Man. Halle Berry can nowhere near pass off as African, she's not tall like the character, and her lines are cringe especially towards Toad.
