Live in Sweden now. Born in Chingola stayed there for 28 years. Still Zambian citizen so it is with pride and admiration I see how Zambia has developed. You folks are brilliant. 👍

Sounds like Chingola in the 50s and 60s, a lot more there now, Solwezi used to be a one horse town, there again, once the mine dries up, another place will rise from the ashes and this one will be left behind

Great editing and all but with all due respect, anyone that has actually properly stayed in SOLWEZI knows just how shi** this place is.. Honestly speaking, the mines have been the main source of development but the development is not close to the lengths some of the gentlemen in the video have spoken.. The airport in SOLWEZI can not safely land a Boeing 737, let alone allow one to take off from there.. Those planes need approximately 9900 feet to take off and that airport is approximately 12000 feet long.. And to top it off. It’s surrounded by houses.. All in all, I’m certain the majority of people that will watch this video are planning to visit SOLWEZI, and it’s better they know exactly how it is, other than receiving bad reviews from them after visiting the city..
