As always, amazing reaction! BoonBoomGer does so many things right, but its strength is definitely how layered they’ve made the character dynamics. Can’t wait for what’s to come in Lap 3. It’s also funny people deny the anime references when Toei literally claims it 😆 Not to mention the screenwriter being from Pokemon and YuugiOh 5D.

This was incredible, Mira and Jou’s plea to Genba made me sad but I love this team so much they truly care for each other! Btw Jou was the star of this episode wow! This lap has been insanely good so far. There’s so much mystery and story is wild. Genba going through this arc is so interesting. RIP to Dog Thigh 2024-2024 you will be missed. Welcome Dog fist fury. This battle is just beginning! Awesome reaction as always. Don’t stop the BoonBoom!

You guys are absolutely right about the anime tropes and references. Sentai is a lot more than just self referential. It does a *lot* of trend surfing to stay relevant and as such it will do things like that. Of course they inject it full of its own dna and personality and tropes that it makes it become its own thing. - Hurricaneger (Ninja Storm) started development as a Harry Potter parody. There's meta episodes and extra content of other series confirming this; eventually they dropped the magic theme for ninjas, but the whole reason why it's 'Harikenja' is "Harry" and "Kenja no Ishi" (Philosopher's Stone). - And they didn't really drop it, they moved it to Majiranger because it was still extremely relevant. - Gokaiger was Pirates because of how incredibly popular One Piece was then. - Lupinranger VS Patranger is a thing because of the popularity of Lupin III and Persona - The entire aesthetics of Zyuohger are due to the popularity of Minecraft. - Toqger exist solely because of the popularity of trains in Japan. - King-Ohger is basically popular demand. Online people had been asking for a bug themed Sentai for a decade. And they just mixed it with Attack on Titan and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and a few other things. - Ninninger takes a lot from Naruto, willingly or not. - Every time they do a card gimmick, it is due to the ressurgeance or popularity of a new card game. - They have done Dinosaurs four times and have a dino mecha every other series exclusively because dinosaurs are never not popular. And so on. You will experience this more with more and more Sentai under your belts, but character development is good in a lot of series, and you'll get to experience it a lot differently when the scenes serve a purpose instead of having to weave a story on out of order action scenes. Some of the best PR stories are the ones that change events the least or have the most original footage for that reason. A lot of times Sixth Rangers feel inconsistent because their first appearance are followed up by something that is only supposed to happen like 10 episodes later.

MontyVerse and Nicki, That was a fantastic and an awesome reaction of episode 28 of BoonBoomger. Also, It featured the return of Madrex now known as Madrex Fury. Also, The Black, Blue, and Pink BoonBoomgers in the Robo Police Megazord took care of the Neon Grumer. Also, The Ending was crazy. Also, I am looking forward to the reaction of episode 29 of BoonBoomger Next week. Also, You and Nicki are the best in doing the reaction episodes of both BoonBoomger and Power Rangers.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

@@xdiamond7157 I think t maybe they wanted people to go Into this expecting comedy. I will say it does have some silly and cartoonish moments, however the overall story is pretty intense at times!

@@TheMontyVerse that is true, but most sentai do have some silly comedy in there and are still very serious with the story, one that comes to mind quickly for me is Kyoryuger
