Thanks! I see these guys a lot, so there was already a comfort level there. Plus Shawnee and I are friends, so I couldn't get upset with her for getting in the middle of the interview. I'm happy to say they're all great people.

I loved the vid. The guy interviewing them was great! He knew his stuff, handled the interruption well, and was comfortable with them. I'm such a Norman reedus fan :)

This is a major good and amazing video.Ivan looked like he forgot to contribute his female factor wow charm in The Boondocks II.Isn't it a coincidence that Norman Reedus has a scene with Detective Greenly in The Walking Dead.

@ThatSawFan I don't know if Sean attended the premiere or not, but even so, people show up at different times on red carpets, so it's entirely possible they walked the same red carpet and never saw each other, or even knew the other was there.

I really hate when you first watch an actor in an American film/storyline but then you realize he's either British/Scottish/Irish/Australian and he sounds so good as an American and that really bothers me. But Norman & Sean acting like Irish is awesome or simply Americans who does accents sounds awesome!
@elenikgr1299 жыл бұрын
Yves Heinrich Americans are naturally from Irish, Scottish, English, Italian, Australian... etc. descent. Norman Reedus is Irsih, Scottish, British and Italian by his paternal grandomether. Sean is Irish, Cajun (French) and English root-wise, bjt he grew up in Texas. Since the US is a country populated mostly by immigrating populations to the New World by Europe, it's natural that everybody - excluding the Native Americans - is from somewhere else, and their forefathers simply immigrated to America. They are Americans, yes, but it is also admirable and very good to hang on to their respective roots and never forget who they are, the history of their native land and as much as they can hold on to their native civilization, culture and ethics.

Eleni Kgr Okay. But my comment wasn't about that. My comment was about an actor who's a British but making an American accent in movies which convince people like me that they're so good and you realize they're actually British. Same with Americans making a British accent only it's not the same as a British actor does an American accent since the sound pretty awesome as "Americans".
@elenikgr1299 жыл бұрын
That is part of their acting abilities. It is quite difficult and demanding, especially if you do it for a long time (Boondock Saints demanded an Irish accent, and a few Gaelic idioms). In TWD, Andrew Lincoln is British, Lauren Cohen is Aussie, Reedus is American and they all speak in a Southern drawl which is quite demanding if we take under considereation that they do it for many hours a day. They surprise me, happily. It gives another dimension to their talent. I also loved the Foreign languages both Reedus and Flanery spoke in the Boondock Saints I - they were amazing and they did do really well. Sorry if I did't catch your frift the first time...!!! Best wishes!

Eleni Kgr No problems I wasn't mad about your comment or something. In fact, I've actually learned quite a lot about ethnic groups about your comments. But again, my comment was just me trying to understand how actors that are so good whether they're Americans or British and they're making an accent which you didn't try to find out because you just watched their movies, but you didn't read their biographies but once you did and you found out their from the country they made the accent which isn't their real accent, I for example, find it kind of disappointing. I recently watched Rachel Weisz's films and some of them she makes an American accent and she's so good!!! Making an American accent, but when I realized she's actually British (which I already knew even before I watched her movies) is disappointing me. So that's my deal.

Yves Heinrich Hmm... I see your point, but I like it. Language skills usually grow on people. I am Greek and I grew up learning English as a Foreign language since I was six (I was learning English and Greek at the same time, in school, started my German and French at 9). My teacher was a Greek that came from England (26 years of studies) and he spoke the London-British idiom. I ended up doing his accent... which is amazing, because I have NEVER been in Britain. Three years ago, I was stopped by a couple of tourists who politely asked for directions... when I started talking, one of them stopped me and said 'oh, I didn't realize you are British, can you even help us?" and he was very shocked when I clarified that I was indeed Greek... Considering that I finished my English studies when I was 22 (I am 42 now) I the accent stays with me, and I am very comfortable with it, despite most of the English I hear is American idioms (Southern, NY, etc). I think people tend to mimic the accent of people talking another language. It worked like that with me. I had several co-students from the university years that did bachelors or finished their studies in the UK... three of them in Surrey and one in Glascow. They all spoke English when they came back, but the idioms and the accent had nothing similar to them. It was hilarius!!! I find the fact of actors making accents a very attractive feature. Makes them slip in the character more... having a Brit play a Brit has no challenge... but having a Texas breed act irish... yeah! Demanding and mind my saying, sexy as hell.

@HotRodChick977 it honestly wasn't that big of a deal and kind of funny. Sean and I know each other pretty well, and I know Shawnee well too, plus I had just finished talking to Shawnee before they came up. If neither of them knew me, I'd find it more insulting - as it is I just found it amusing, and a fun moment to catch on film.

Wow ... that's what you got from that? How about taking a golden opportunity to catch up with someone you haven't seen in a long time? It's not like they walked away from the interviewer, and he went right along with it. Take a chill pill. Out of all the Hollywood actors, Sean, Norman, and Rocco are probably the LEAST arrogant out there.
