That's so sad you crashed the drone. We love the Badlands and have droned right where you have. It's such a great place to boondock, too. In about 3 years, we'll be hitting the road full time to travel the country. We're so pumped! Thanks for sharing the video! Have a blessed day! 😊

When you turned off 240, did you have to raise your coach above ride height? The cattle grate held you fine? Any places you came close to scraping the bottom of your Monaco? We travel in a 44’ Blue Bird and our weight is probably just a bit heavier than yours. Thanks for the video.

No, I didn't raise it, although, the entry there is a little sketch so certainly check it out first, there are plenty of rocks around to build up a hole if needed. Slow and easy is the winner here for sure.

You're in for a treat! Make sure it is dry when you go in/out (if it rains, it drys very quick) ENJOY!

I've never heard it called The Wall. Most folks call it Nomad View dispersed camping area.
@2ustravels772 жыл бұрын
Huh Thanks for that info! We've not heard that but it comes right up on a search. The Wall is what we learned it as and did our research on. Any and all info to help others find these amazing places is always welcomed and appreciated!

is there any cell coverage? needed for work (AT&T or Verizon will do). also, where would you get fresh water before going to the wall? And where is the closest RV dump station when leaving? Assuming coming in from 90 and going back out the same way. THANKS
@2ustravels772 жыл бұрын
Hi Debra, we had good service, no issues, we did not check any speeds but we have both Verizon and T-Mobile. The town of Wall, which is where you'll get off of I-90, has at least one RV park with a dump/ fill and there is a gas station right off the exit that has a dump/ fill and an RV self wash. You're going to LOVE it there! ENJOY, and Safe Travels!

Don't camp here if you're in a tent, or even a rooftop tent. The winds are harsh and will keep you awake, even with earplugs. It sure was a beautiful spot though.

LOL, if you watched our storm video (linked below) there were a group of people that tried to stay in a tent on one of the fingers! kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKeTanWVjt-DnJo
