Have you tightened your chain yet? Heard these gen5s are a little more prone to stretching.

Yes, I actually checked the chain earlier that day

Damn guys! Great snow so far this year, but a little bad luck with the sleds. I’m sure you’ll get it figured out in no time. It’s shaping up to be a killer season! Keep up the great work, hope to hear from you guys soon. Be safe!

I’ve heard rumors about misalignment in the gen 5 chain cases this year and a lot of guys having issues. Had a buddies dad put a belt drive on and shredded a belt within a mile of the trailer because of the alignment issue. Hope they get it figured out!

Going to get the spindles for sure. Did you do anything to the back? Torsion springs change or spacers?
@Boondock_Nation2 жыл бұрын
We have them cranked to five at the moment. Raptor will be coming with a rear solution in the next couple weeks and we plan on trying that out. Stock Ski-Doo shock oil is shot after 300 miles apparently so it will be a timely upgrade!
@gregspiropulos19772 жыл бұрын
@@Boondock_Nation TY. Did you adjust the front shock given the added ski pressure? Great! 150 more and I’ll be looking at new rear.

Dude. Jack. I feel freakin terrible for you man. Muskoka's track and chain have been stretching like crazy as well. I hope all these Doo guys who talk shit year-round are paying attention and eating this humble pie. If you guys were on Polaris sleds these comment's sections would be a slaughterhouse. I honestly feel like all 3 manufactures build a good sled, but the non-stop shit talking from Doo queens gets so damn old. I grew up riding Polaris but my Axys is getting up there on miles....I've been eyeing the Summit Edge because I feel like it's a lot of sled for the money (and I'm not good enough to justify a turbo), but I don't know if I can bring myself to even *looking* like a typical Doo rider. If Cat put their Ctec in the Catalyst, I'd seriously consider that snowmobile too. I sure hope these gremlins come to an abrupt end for you Jack. With the snow year we're having so far you hate to miss the prime conditions!!
@208SledHead2 жыл бұрын
@@3DProductions Coming up on 1800 miles and I've never had to adjust my track or my quick drive. Majority of the guys I ride with are on Polaris - haven't had any issues. 2 of my buddies are on G4's and their tracks haven't been ratcheting or tearing, and the same for 1 Cat. As for the "recall," don't store your sled for 6 years with ethanol fuel and you won't have anything to worry about. Talk about "get a brain" lol. Like a typical Doo queen - you've over-exaggerated my comments and dismissed others. Ya'll are an emotional bunch and usually remind me of a woman on her monthly cycle. There are the exceptions obviously, but you're clearly not one of them. Have a nice evening.
@208SledHead2 жыл бұрын
@@3DProductions Actually what's funny is if you scroll down a little, you will see that Jack made a comment that he had checked his chain case earlier that day and even multiple times before this ride. These guys are sponsored riders, they CLEARLY know what the hell they're doing and I'm sure would love to take you out and show you first hand just how "clueless" they really are. Looks like you're up for seconds on that humble pie serving.
@jiggyquinn56352 жыл бұрын
They might be sponsored by the aftermarket, but Jack clearly stated not by the oem. Fan the fire of brand bashing it supports the whole industry and sport as a whole. Not!
