Got into a great early morning spinnerbait bite on Boone Lake. It didn't last long but was fun while it lasted.

Double Willows are so underrated. A good spinnerbait bite is one of the best experiences out of any kind of fishing. A close second to a good top water bite. Third would be a good Rattle Trap or crankbait bite. Fourth would be a good jerkbait bite, imo. A good umbrella rig bite is just too easy sometimes, lol. A bit boring but very effective when matching the hatch.

The Spinnerbait was my go to confidence bait for years and then for whatever reason I got away from it but this past year I started throwing it a lot again and had such great luck with it, I can’t believe I ever stopped throwing it. Love the feel of a spinnerbait bite, they usually nail it ! Great start to a foggy day with some fat Largies.
