BOON DOCUMENTED!!! I couldn't afford the 1000 back then and ended up getting a 500 on Ebay in great condition and learned the MPC on that. Mostly inspired by your videos. I was strictly Fruity Loops and the MPD 24 at the time and wanted the analog experience, again thanks to you brother! Great Talent!

Boonie, I been following you for over 12 years. You are really dope, super talented. I stick around because I believe in your potential. But It's seems like after you got that Rhodes and picked up the bass, things changed a lot. At times, too much, I don't remember all the details that happened with you using samples, but I seem to remember some dram around that. But there's so many ways around that now. That little window of time when you were fusing the samples with keys was golden. That was my favorite stuff. But then, you went only instruments and you adopted a trademark sound that was way too narrow. All the songs started sounding the same, same tempo, similar drum sounds and everything was just to clean and crispy, no grit to it. Don't get me wrong, I love live instruments. My favorite stuff is mostly live, Badbadnot good, DJ Harrison, Sa Ra, Thundercat, Kiefer, etc. So I know all instrument beats or mostly instrument beats can be raw and even better than sample based. But as a fan I gotta be honest with you bro. I think you've lost your way. This is not the sound we followed you for bro, and it's not hittin. You could easily return to samples though. You got Tracklib, and even AI now where you can literally create your own samples. Bring back that old sound and fuse it with your new skills bro. Also, we not here for the skits and all that. You mixing your audiences up man. That's a mistake to think that we are interested in all of your creative output. You can build a entirely different audience with that content and have 2 streams of income. Or 3 actually, one for you as a personality/influencer, one for you as a producer, one for you as an actor/entertainer.
